The Social Services in Valdemarsvik is a workplace for over 30 employees with diverse education, backgrounds, and areas of work. From the birth of a child with paternity investigations to estate notifications and handling funerals and other aspects of life's end.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrator with us, you have a central and coordinating role. You are responsible for creating structure, ensuring effective administrative processes, and providing qualified support to caseworkers and managers. The role is varied and requires both accuracy, flexibility, and good collaboration skills.

Structure and Coordination

  • Responsible for filing, registration, and archiving according to applicable legislation
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail as well as emails
  • Ensure order and structure in the organization's administrative systems
  • Prepare statistics, summaries, and reports

Support in Case Management

  • Administrative support to social workers and case managers
  • Prepare decision-making materials and documentation
  • Register cases in the operational system
  • Handle orders, invoices, and simpler financial administration
  • Support in follow-ups and quality assurance

Other Administrative Tasks

  • Update routines and templates
  • Manage permissions in systems
  • Order office supplies and coordinate practical issues within the unit
  • Be a professional support in contact with internal and external actors
  • Manage premises and vehicles and minor repairs

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good administrative and secretarial experience. You have strong abilities to express yourself in writing and speech. For example, medical secretary or similar.

  • Have relevant administrative education or equivalent experience
  • Have experience working in public services, preferably social services
  • Be structured, meticulous, and have a good ability to prioritize
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Have good system skills and find it easy to work with various digital tools

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
